Terms & Conditions / Software Licence Terms

Terms governing purchase, licensing and use of LPS standard software.

1. Supplier and scope

Licensor and product developer:
Prof. Dr. Matthias Müller-Wiegand, trading as Leadership Performance Systems (LPS)
Weyerstr. 48–52
50676 Cologne
Germany
info@leadershipperformancesystems.com

These Terms & Conditions and Software Licence Terms govern the use of the standard software supplied by Leadership Performance Systems. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.

2. Paddle's role in purchases

Purchases made through the checkout embedded on this website are processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record and authorised reseller. Payment, invoicing, tax handling and the transaction-related purchase terms are governed by the current Paddle Buyer Terms. LPS remains the software developer and licensor and provides product-related support.

3. Products, trial period and licence models

The individual product pages describe the feature scope, system requirements, current version and price. A 14-day local trial is provided for the standard software.

Unless a product page expressly states otherwise, paid licences are offered as one-off purchases with no automatic renewal:

  • 1-year licence,
  • 2-year licence,
  • perpetual licence for the major-version line identified on the product page.

The licence is intended for one named user on up to two personal devices. Resale, sublicensing, shared multi-user use or circumvention of technical licence controls is not permitted except where mandatory law provides otherwise.

4. Fulfilment and customer portal

After a transaction has been successfully completed and confirmed by Paddle, the product entitlement is provisioned in the LPS system. Licence information, device management and protected downloads may be provided through the LPS customer portal. An internet connection is required for downloads, activation and certain portal actions; day-to-day desktop use depends on the product and is described on the relevant product page.

5. Updates and support

The scope of updates and standard support follows the licence option described on the relevant product page. Perpetual licences relate to the stated major-version line; where specified, updates and standard support are included for the period shown.

6. System requirements and user responsibility

Please review the published system requirements before purchase. LPS aims to describe products transparently but cannot guarantee compatibility with every individual hardware and software configuration. Mandatory statutory remedies for defective products remain unaffected.

7. Restrictions on use

The software must not be used unlawfully, rented out, resold as a standalone product or used to circumvent licence or security controls. Any acts that are mandatorily permitted by applicable law, including mandatory interoperability or error-correction rights, remain unaffected.

8. Refunds, withdrawal and consumer rights

Transactions processed through Paddle are subject to Paddle's current transaction-related terms. See Refunds & Withdrawal for information on refund and withdrawal requests. Mandatory consumer rights in the buyer's country of residence are not restricted by these terms.

9. Privacy

Information about personal-data processing by LPS is set out in the Privacy Notice. Paddle's own privacy information applies additionally to processing carried out by Paddle.
