No. Saving deliberately uses a separate working copy, and export also creates a new PDF.
Can I write with a pen without finger touches drawing?
Yes. The annotation workflow is designed for pen/touch separation; touch remains available for navigation.

No. PDF viewing, annotation and export run locally. Internet may be required for downloads, the customer portal and optional licence/update checks.
